My round mortar & pestles like the one shown are 120mm in diameter x 65mm high. The mortar is from European Walnut and the pestle from N.Z.Black Mairi sapwood, an extremely hard native species.

This style of cutting board I started making in 2010 and has proven to be very popular. Made from N.Z.Red Beech with all sharp edges lightly radiused. The large 45mm hole offers a good means of holding the board by having your thumb through it. Customers have contacted me to say they make a nice cheese board as well.
All are finished in rice bran oil.

This serving tray is made from a French Oak wine barrel head, with two Oak stiffening ribs underneath. The wrought iron handles i make myself, with the flat steel hot hammered to get the dimple effect. Many of these French Oak barrel heads can show the most beautiful quarter sawn medullary ray figure, as you can see on this tray

My burnt logo is done on a CNC laser machine, and finish is a medium stain, then three coats of Danish oil.

These i make to order, with about four weeks from time of order till delivery.

My N.Z. Rimu & Matai Cutting Boards start at 350mm long, then increase by 50mm increments up to 450mm, but longer lengths can be made to order The two ends have routed finger recesses, with all sharp edges lightly router radiused
All have a nominal width between 275mm to 285mm, but wider boards can be made to order
Finish is either walnut or rice bran oil..
The price stated here is for the 350mm length, every 50mm increase is an extra $10-00 N.Z.

Do have a Eucalyptus and Mahogany cutting boards as well, one of each, enquire if you are interested
