Bronze & Walnut bowll<br />
This bronze cage came from a large thrust bearing with one of the 16 x 48mm diameter balls shown on the display mounting. Was essential to find a dark colored wood to get this contrast with the golden bronze and think this piece of Walnut achieved that. Bowl is separated by four 13mm long drilled Walnut spacers through which pass stainless steel screws into bowl wall. Bowl projects about 8mm above and below bronze cage with three small turned button feet in bowl base to give the piece a lift. Bowl was then Danish oiled the both bowl and bronze cage spray lacquered Polishing the bronze took many hours $500-00<br>
